It is such a personal moment. When you walk down that aisle together as a couple, married to the love of your life, having your new life start just right there, in that instant you exit that ceremony and begin your journey through life, now together as one.
This is the time when you should take a moment to yourselves, a moment just for you two, to realize, to enjoy. After this little moment for the rest of the day you’ll be celebrating with family, eating, drinking, dancing, and even if we don’t think of it that way, we get lost in the moment and sometimes loose perspective of what just really happened, what is all really about.
My tip today is for you, for the couple, for the main characters of this whole thing!
You should take a moment away from the crowd, just as you leave the ceremony, as a married couple. Take a walk, far from the music, the excitement, away from people talking to you. Just a moment, it could be 10 min. or half an hour (just not too long to make the guests worry) And during this time talk, just talk to each other, with words, with kisses, with looking at each others eyes. Realize what a truly glorious day it is the one that you’re about to end in celebration, the day you’ve been waiting for, for so long. Enjoy a quiet time with your love and express all what you’re feeling. This is such a perfect moment to deepen in what you feel for each other.
Also laugh, tell each other what you thought when you saw each other at the other end of the aisle, what you thought of the ministers glasses or your cousin’s terrible dress. Have a little laugh with a little love and everything that happens after that will flow so perfect, so meant to be. It doesn’t matter if you have a huge wedding or a little get together, the point is realizing and enjoying the true meaning of marriage and the union of two souls in love.
Did I mention that this extremely romantic personal moment that I’m talking about makes just a perfect time to capture in pictures your true, natural happiness and love? (of course without interrupting it/ a photographer never ever should interrupt!)
So think about it and plan ahead, just as people leave for the party, make a little romantic escape with the love of your life and enjoy.
At the en, Love conquers all.
